Tik Tok Launch
Produced and supervised the launch of Rutgers Residence Life's Tik Tok channel. The goal of the campaign was to raise awareness of the new Tik Tok channel and create a sustainable system for publishing content consistently. The Tik Tok format delivers information to students in a digestible and relatable manner.
The campaign launch included print and digital media. Graphics were used for both flyers and social media posts. The launch started on Instagram and Facebook with promoting the new Tik Tok channel. Promotional videos were created to raise awareness of the launch.
The Tik Tok channel was first populated with existing videos of Resident Assistants. These videos were made by the Resident Assistants themselves and were meant to be relatable and humorous. They provided an individual and authentic view of living in the residence halls.
Once the channel was promoted, the campaign then invited students to submit their own Tik Tok videos to be put on the channel. This resulted in a channel that sincerely reflects the views of the audience.
A survey was created to provide an accessible format for students to submit videos.
